According to Business Insider, a report from the Federal Reserve restored investor confidence on Wall Street. The top three markets on the New York Stock Exchange opened Dec. 6th trading down between 2-and-3 percent each. But the markets regained most of their losses by the closing bell. The Dow Jones Industrial Average lost half a percent on the day, losing about 114-points. The S&P 500 ended up losing about two-tenths of a percent, shedding 6-points.
