The median rental price and new leases in Queens fell in February, according to a new report. That report claims this is due in part to Amazon's HQ2 pullout last month, says Business Insider. The headquarters were expected to bring in a wave of workers and businesses, driving up property demand. The median rental price of apartments in northwest Queens fell 1.8% from a year earlier to $2,798 in February. Still, real-estate prices are expected to bounce back quickly since Long Island City is rapidly growing.
