Queen Elizabeth attended an event celebrating 100 years of Britain's Royal Air Force (RAF) earlier today. The celebration was attended by the 92-year-old monarch, her husband Prince Phillip, as well as the rest of the royal family. Speaking at the event, the Queen congratulated the RAF for its "remarkable contribution to defense over the last hundred years", and telling all in attendance, "The RAF has won a place in the heart of our nation.
