According to Reuters, underwhelming quarterly revenue results took a bite out of bank stocks. By the closing bell on April 15th, Goldman Sachs shares dropped 4-percent after reporting quarterly results that fell below expectations. JP Morgan Chase and Bank of America also weathered losses on the day, falling about 1-percent each. Those losses led the S&P's 500 bank index into decline, which fall eight-tenths of a percent.
