France is set to close the Eiffel Tower and other major tourist attractions in Paris this weekend, in fear of another wave of violent protests in the country. Reuters reports Prime Minister Edouard Philippe said 89,000 police would be deployed throughout France this weekend in attempts to stop a repeat of last Saturday’s massive protests across France. Protestors of the “yellow vest” movement have called on social media for “Act IV," meaning a fourth weekend of protest.
