Chinese state media criticized President Donald Trump’s recent attack on China. Trump added more tariffs on goods from China and ordered U.S. companies to not do business with China. According to Reuters, the additional duty targeted some $550 billion in Chinese goods. These were added after China hit the U.S. with tariffs on $75 billion worth of U.S. goods. The official China Daily said that Washington would “never be allowed to control China’s fate.”
