According to Reuters, the top markets on Wall Street fell after underwhelming first quarter results from Goldman Sachs and Citigroup. On April 15th, Goldman Sachs dropped over 3-percent after missing revenue estimates for the first quarter of 2019, while Citigroup lost seven-tenths of a percent. Those losses led the S&P 500's banking index into decline, falling over 1-percent on the day. But they also put pressure on JPMorgan Chase and Bank of America, which lost about 1.5-percent each.
