The American Medical Association (AMA) has called for a ban on all vaping products. The group wants all vaping products banned, excepting those approved by the FDA. The AMA called for more study on the use of drug and non-drug treatment strategies to deal with nicotine addiction. The AMA is also advocating for diagnostic codes for e-cigarette and vaping associated illnesses. According to Reuters, that would help better identify patients with lung injuries associated with vaping.
