AIDS Memorial Quilt to head to California, archive moves to D.C.

Description
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, a California lawmaker, recalled displaying the AIDS Memorial Quilt on the National Mall, as the quilt is set to be shipped off to the San Francisco-based National AIDS Memorial Grove from its home in Atlanta. The Library of Congress will become the new home to the quilt's archive in 2020, that include biographical records and more that give context to the quilt, organizers said.
